a little recap !

Im off

to the shop again.  to help wrap the models up, and get things rolling in preparation for Wednesdays event.

It's Saturday

Yesterday the banker group was able to complete their skit and analysis of their design in the full scale space.

I am thrilled at the results, of the skit. .

I told them all to go home when they were ‘finished’ with the full scale model, and come back not as a builder, but as a designer.  It was critical that they put the long hours and attention to small build failures behind them so that they could interact in the space objectively and critically.

This is exactly what they did, and they found a great number of issues that they would have never known existed.  It wasnt some sort of dissapointing “I spent sooo long on this model; screw it” moment, it was “whoa, this is way wrong”, or “whoa, actually it would make more sense to do it like … ”  etc.

It was a really great moment to see.
